When our first group of Nichelle, Meica, Abby, Joanna, Camila, Kasey, Tiffany and Jasmine arrived, they were blown away by the hotel’s friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Besides the incredible content we created, we also headed out on an adventure to the markets as well as Taboo restaurant by the beach. The surroundings of Hotel Tiki Tulum are nothing short of a utopian paradise.

Tulum, renowned for its archaeological wonders and bohemian ambiance, is home to ancient Mayan ruins that stand majestically against the backdrop of the Caribbean horizon. Guests can embark on a journey through time, exploring the mystique of these ruins while immersing themselves in the rich cultural heritage that defines the region. Our second group of Lexi, Kristin, Elba, Nik, Sara, Monique and Anastasia were treated to some of these amazing surroundings, with a trip to Mystika Museum and the Mayan ruins both highlights.

Beyond the historical allure, Tulum’s natural wonders beckon adventurers. The Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a short drive away, offering an opportunity to explore the diverse ecosystems of mangroves, coral reefs, and tropical forests. Guests can partake in eco-friendly excursions, from snorkelling in crystal-clear cenotes to observing the vibrant marine life in the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef. Our third, and final, group of Bozena, Victoria, Hana, Denisa and Kelston were treated to lunch in a cave after a visit to these incredible cenotes that need to be seen to be believed.

The warm and welcoming staff at Galley Bay Resort & Spa in Antigua were buzzing as the FHM Escapes crew arrived for yet another of our quality tropical tours. As the resort personnel prepared to give our models the ultimate VIP treatment during our stay, they certainly didn’t disappoint.
We chose Galley Bay Resort as our FHM Escapes Australia July tour because of its pristine beauty and luxurious amenities. Situated on the west coast of Antigua, surrounded by lush greenery and crystal-clear waters, the setting was ideal to create more world-class content with 10 stunning FHM models for this very edition you hold in your hands right now. Now back to the Galley Bay… as the team arrived, they were greeted by the resort’s manager who personally escorted them to their rooms. Elegantly designed with luxurious furnishings and awe-inspiring ocean views, the rooms were perfect as the team was then treated to a traditional Caribbean welcome drink – a refreshing blend of rum and tropical fruit juices. This was followed by a detailed tour of the resort, highlighting its unique features such as the private beach and the organic farm that supplies the freshest produce for their restaurants. Suffice to say, team FHM was eager to explore everything the resort had to offer.
To start the day, they headed to the resort’s beach for a day of water activities – our models indulged in sailing, jet skiing, paddle boarding, snorkelling, tennis, volleyball, yoga and more. The waters of Antigua were perfect for exploring vibrant coral reefs and schools of colourful sea life. Another highlight of the stay was the dining experiences the resort has to offer. Galley Bay has three unique restaurants serving a range of mouthwatering cuisines. Each eatery is designed with a distinct ambiance, from romantic candle-lit dinners under the starry sky (for those wanting to impress a significant other) to casual seaside dining.
The FHM crew was particularly taken by the Gaugin Restaurant, which is situated on a wooden deck overlooking the ocean. The menu is a fusion of Caribbean and French cuisine, and the chefs used only the freshest ingredients, sourced from the aforementioned organic farm. The team even got an exclusive opportunity to interact with the resort chefs and learn the art of Caribbean cooking and were given a cooking demonstration on how to concoct Caribbean delicacies suchas Pepperpot, Antiguan Fungi and Goat Water.
Antigua is known for its famous reggae music, and, as always, the FHM team were excited to experience the local nightlife. Let’s just say we visited a few of the local bars in the village of Bolans, which were pumping full of locals, young and old, getting down to the beats of some quality reggae tunes. Needless to say, FHM Escapes’s visit to Galley Bay Resort & Spa was a unique experience that left all captivated by the location’s natural beauty, world-class amenities and exceptional service. This place was indeed an ideal destination, offering the perfect balance between luxury and landscape. We can’t wait to return to Galley Bay Resort & Spa one day – it was certainly a trip to remember and definitely in our top three FHM Escapes destinations so far.

As a fan of classic movies, like The Bridge On The River Kwai, anticipation was high as we headed off for our latest FHM Escapes tour to Thailand at Cross River Kwai. Cross sits on the banks of Kanchanaburi’s River Kwai Noi. Kanchanaburi has a storied history with sites like the Death Railway, Hellfire Pass and Prasat Muang Singh National Park with ancient ruins. Natural attractions include forests, mountains, waterfalls, caves and the renowned Erawan National Park.
After arriving into Bangkok airport, we jumped into a taxi – an alternative is a leisurely train journey from Bangkok on the historic railway, but we couldn’t wait as anticipation was high. With special experience packages including kayaking or paddle boarding, spa treatments, boat trips, jet-skiing and more, we couldn’t wait to arrive at Cross River Kwai Resort and we certainly weren’t disappointed when we did.
Cross’ villas are incredible. For starters, ours each had their own waterfall and plunge pool. And The Bridge Bar & Bistro was incredible also, with pages and pages of menu options to suit all tastes… not to mention the river views to die for.
Our first group of Mia, Olivia, Ashton and Phobe were mesmerised by the local waterfalls and wildlife, including baby leopards, lions, giraffes, zebras, bears, panthers, monkeys and more. It’s an experience you really need to see first-hand.
By the time the second group of Jamie, Delina and Eliza arrived, our FHM Escapes crew of Paris, Corrina and Alex were a well-oiled machine, creating more incredible content you see featured here. A visit to the local temples was a highlight.
In short, Cross river Kwai literally took our breath away. A short (by Aussie standards!) direct flight to Bangkok, followed by a cab ride is all it takes to transform your surrounding 100-fold and truly immerse yourself in another world. This was definitely a FHM Escapes adventure that we will simply never forget.

As we arrived in Sri Lanka for another epic FHM Escapes adventure, we just knew that the quaint and quality Triple “O” Six, in Mirissa, was going to deliver countless memories. When we first received our invitation to visit the 21-room hotel, our first thought was one of curiosity. As Australians and Kiwis we often treat Bali and Thailand as our northern playground – Sri Lanka is rarely even mentioned in the same sentence. Somewhat of a shame because Sri Lanka actually has so much to offer and has absolutely been our favourite tour to date.

About a two-hour drive from busy Colombo Airport, Triple “O” Six played host to our first group of beauties Margot, Izzy, Nikki and Janine. Breath-taking Coconut Hill, the setting of our first group shot, has to be seen to be believed. For their main activity group one took a safari about a two and a half hour drive from the resort. Initially, it felt like a long drive and your sore back and shoulders from the hard seats of the open Land Rover had us wondering if it was all worth it.

It certainly was an absolute privilege as we witnessed elephants, deer, crocodiles, peacocks and more up-close and roaming free in their natural environment. In fact, being charged at by an angry elephant mother, trunk raised, was a very scary and exhilarating experience at the time, but looking back it’s one we now remember fondly. We were in awe of the beauty of this amazing place from start to finish – treated with the respect it deserves, it is not dangerous at all.

By the time the second group of Lisa, Santia, Sarah, Brittany and Blair arrived, our FHM Escapes team of Paris, Corrina, Rocky and Drew were in full flight and created even more magic. A visit to the local turtle sanctuary was the highlight and the girls even released their own baby turtles into the ocean. And like a turtle peacefully gliding underwater, Triple “O” Six was a haven of tranquillity, offering an escape from the worries of everyday life. Owner, Prinith and our on-ground support, Suwani were amazing hosts. And the on-site restaurant served up incredible fresh food, fruit and juices daily.

Yes, we were spoiled for choice with the array of luxurious accommodations Triple “O” Six had to offer and the hotel’s crown jewel is its infinity pool in the rooftop suite, seemingly stretching out to meet the horizon. Beyond its in-house comforts, Triple “O” Six offers surfing, snorkelling and deep-sea diving, exploring the vibrant marine life beneath the surface. For those seeking a cultural experience, they even organise excursions to nearby historical sites where guests can learn about Sri Lanka’s rich heritage and ancient civilizations. Definitely worth a visit and one we will cherish forever.

We couldn’t believe our good fortune when we were invited by Panorama Summit Samui to bring our FHM Escapes tours to beautiful Koh Samui, Thailand. So, we got right to work selecting eleven beautiful models to join us. As we arrived at the resort, the panoramic view of the island and the ocean took our breath away with the warm breeze and the sound of the waves adding to the experience. We knew this was going to be a trip to remember.
The excellent attention to detail of the staff, Jeremy and Nüch, were the icing on the cake – they were friendly and welcoming, and the amenities were top-notch. This resort spares no expense in providing a luxurious experience for their guests and after the tour of the villas we got down to business finding the best locations to capture our talent and planning the shoots. The first group of Sophie, Claire, Molly, Alexa and Olivia excelled, culminating in their iconic group beach shoot nearby at Thongson Beach.
When social media mega-babe and this month’s FHM cover girl Gabby Epstein arrived at the end of the first week, the FHM Escapes team of Rocky, Oisin and Paris were a well-oiled machine and produced some of Gabby’s best-ever content in one of our favourite locations. The second group had a very hard act to follow, but Valeria, Maya, Gieorgia, Saranya, Bianca and Monika brought more heat to the Summit with incredible shoots of their own.
When we weren’t knee-deep in photo shoots, the trip was filled with relaxation and fun. The models enjoyed the amenities of the resort, especially its epic infinity pool overlooking Koh Samui, and attractions like The Golden Buddha. Wherever we went we felt like royalty, which was fitting as one of our lunches – at Tembo Beach Club – coincided with a luncheon celebrating the Coronation of King Charles III.
As we departed the resort, we couldn’t help but feel grateful for the cultural experience we’d just been a part of. We’d highly recommend a visit to Koh Sami and you could not experience better accommodation, hospitality or a better view, than that of Panorama Summit Samui. Keep the air-con on, Nüch, because we’ll be back! The Summit will always hold a special place in our hearts.

The Indonesian island of Bali has long been the go-to retreat for vacationing Aussies, and it is safe to say that most returning visitors have their favourite spots to stay on the island. Still, when you’re done with rural Ubud and over the hustle and bustle of Kuta, why not try the nearby coastal village of Canggu for an authentic slice of the luxury villa lifestyle. Nestled amongst an old coconut plantation on the serene West Coast of Koh Samui in Thailand, lies a sublime paradise of three private villas with idyllic views beyond impressive infinity pools, state-of-the-art facilities and delicious local cuisine. During our stay, FHM’s 12 stunning ladies and crew were treated to fresh meals cooked daily (not to mention a never-ending supply of cookies and Haribo lollies to get everyone through the day) and impeccable service from the ever attentive staff always happy to tend to our every need. In between their eye-catching FHM photo shoots, our two groups of six models enjoyed some amazing activities.

These included visiting an epic elephant sanctuary (feeding and walking alongside these beautiful beasts is a surreal experience to say the least), an exhilarating trek to various waterfalls (staying dry wasn’t an option) and learning first-hand about all things Thai cuisine with some fun, private cooking classes. A few girls even managed to venture out and explore the night markets at Fisherman’s Village and others danced the night away at the popular Full Moon Party!
Of course, when we weren’t “working” or soaking up the local festivities, plenty of fun was had inside our spacious and secluded villas – the perfect haven to escape, unwind and truly feel immersed in the tropical surroundings. Big thanks to Colin and his team who went above and beyond to ensure everyone had what they needed, and for providing an incredible experience for us at Lime Samui Villas. We wish we could’ve stay there forever!

After a two year hiatus, FHM Escapes is back! Last month we returned to the epic Acro Suites in Crete, Greece, and shortly after we took a stroll down to road to the amazing Sea Side Resort & Spa, where we turned up the fun factor!
Two groups of stunning models joined us to bathe in the Cretan sunshine across various pools in this sprawling resort over Mononafis Bay. Besides basking in the opulence and enjoying the all-you-can-eat (and drink!) bars and buffet, our first group went on a thrilling quad bike adventure, while our second stepped into nature for a spot of mountain horse-riding.

When you’re searching for a romantic couples’ getaway in the Greek Islands, an adults-only resort is a no brainer. The island of Crete is a hot spot for singles and couples looking to escape the grind, many of whom can be found chilling out in the area’s countless wellness resorts and spas. The handsome Sea Side Resort & Spa is a fantastic option for a trip to Crete. Like other resorts in the area, Sea Side is proudly adults-only and recently hosted our gorgeous cast of ladies for FHM Escapes 2022.
Located at the top of a hill in Mononaftis bay, the property is spread generously along a quiet area of Agia Pelagia. One a small fishing village, Agia is now the centre of Crete’s wellness resorts thanks to its sweeping ocean views. It’s also highly convenient for incoming travellers landing at the island’s main airport while still being removed from the chaos of Heraklion. The Seaside Crete consists of 248 rooms and suites, each offering breathtaking views of the beautiful coastline below. There’s a variety of room options available, from super romantic suites that make for a fantastic honeymoon to larger suites ideal for groups and bucks parties.

Interiors at the Sea Side are suitably chic and typically Greek, with lots of bright white soft linens and natural finishes sourced from local materials. What’s more, the Resort will empower you to fully dive into the Crete lifestyle. Upon check-in, guests at the Sea Side can look forward to an all-encompassing wellness experience, including a Spa centre offering massages, as well as a sauna, steam room, face treatments, manicure & pedicure and an indoor hydropool.
Wellness is a major preoccupation on the island of Crete and starts with the Cretan diet. Eating like a local means eating what’s grown on the island, so you’ll be looking forward to a lot of fresh fruit, vegetables, whole grains and pulses. When you want to try something more edgy, the resort’s Umi Restaurant offers a fascinating fusion menu blending Japanese and Peruvian cuisine. Spend a week reclining on soft, whitewashed sunbeds while noshing on something from the resort’s selection of bars and restaurants.

The true show stopper of this property is its various pools onsite, ideal for a dip while taking in the sites of the spectacular Mononaftis bay. Yes, the top pool of the Sea Side is a mandatory stop for all your social media posts, but the real action is going on below. Head to the downstairs pool to take in all the action, with a full staff behind the bar pouring Raki (a local spirit) and serving piles of fresh beach towels by the dozen. If you’re extra adventurous, wander down to
the actual beach and stake a claim on a couple sun loungers.

Local legend says Mononaftis, which means single sailor, got its name when a ship sank in the area centuries ago and one lucky sailor survived. Fast forward to today and that same bay plays host to spray tanned euros on their summer vacations and an international money set cruising around on rent-a-boats. The Sea Side is an oasis in this sense, a haven for travellers looking to rediscover themselves (or their partner) in a discreetly luxurious setting. The sands and sea of Agia Pelagia are said to be healing, and this resort frames the local environment while adding in a few creature comforts. ■

FHM Escapes is back! In 2018 and 2019 we took models to five exotic locations including Thailand, Bali, Samoa and Mozambique, but when some nasty virus struck, we were forced to wind down our tours. So, this year when we received an invitation from the amazing Acro Suites in Crete, Greece we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to get FHM Escapes back up and running. And what an AMAZING return tour it is!

Eleven models joined us at Acro Suites to experience breathtaking views, amazing weather, epic photo shoots and fun activities. Our first group of six (featuring Oliva, Bree, Stephanie, Nicole, Blair and Sara) took an amazing catamaran ride for their activity, while our second group of five beauties in Estelle, Cece, Sophie, Elizabeth and Alex, went horse riding in the Cretan mountains.

The accommodation was mind-blowing and the food was incredible to say the least, but most of all the staff were on a level we have never experienced before. Resort manager, Michalis left no stone unturned in his efforts to make us feel welcome, while Sami made sure we ran our schedule like clockwork and get to where we needed to be on time, every time. Michalis Junior, for want of a better name, even stepped in and modelled for FHM to help us create content for the resort. And a huge special thanks to Dimitris for all his help – nothing was too difficult for the staff at the stunning Acro Suites.

Words cannot describe how amazing our Acro experience in Greece was. Crete is a beautiful island and was the perfect backdrop for the amazing content we planned to and, as you can see, eventually created. Congrats to team FHM Escapes. What a memorable experience. Where to next?

Halfway between New Zealand and Hawaii, is one of the South Pacific’s hidden gems – Samoa. With only a small amount of tourism, arriving to Samoa was like a step back in time – back to a simple time where food is fresh, the people are friendly and the waters are clear. 

We were greeted with a sincere and genuine welcome at the airport and again at Taumeasina Island Resort. Our immediate switch into “island time” was an unexpected part of our arrival into a, what felt like, secret new world. There simply is no need to rush in Samoa. It was like a new calm energy that took over our group and we quickly learned that the priorities of the people are focussed on family and quality of life in a way that you do not see often when travelling to glamorous destinations. We didn’t realise that our island getaway was going to give us so much more than amazing pictures and incredible tans. It seems the spirit of Samoa is focussed on celebrating the simple things in life and this taught us a lot during out stay. 

The traditions and culture of Samoa were demonstrated with pride throughout our stay at Taumeasina. Whether it’s the local foods or the evening entertainment in the form of fire dancing or local singers, we were constantly reminded of the islands beauty and its people. There is just something incredibly unique about the people of Samoa which is difficult to describe. Their authentic pride and commitment to service made us feel at home immediately. Every person we encountered simply wanted us to love their country as much as they do and nothing was too much trouble for them to do to make our stay enjoyable. 

Walking onto a deserted beach or incredible waterfall and having it all to yourself is not a unique experience in Samoa. It happened to us time and time again. The fact is there are so many picturesque beaches and crystal waterfalls and so few people that it’s almost guaranteed. It was a feeling of privilege to explore the island and its beautiful jungles and lush landscapes without ritzy attractions and large resorts. Traffic delays due to coconut harvesting above the roads or random families of a mother pig and her piglets wandering along the beach tracks were the norm and all part of the experience. 

The To-Sua Ocean Trench is something that needs to be seen to be believed. For once, the super hyped destination actually delivers and looks exactly like the postcards or something out of a movie set. The experience of swimming in this beautiful turquoise natural pool was pure magic. Our resort had endless activities including snorkelling with the local wildlife, sailing, kyaking and much more.  

The feasts of incredible seafood that had been caught each day or fresh produce, grown locally will not be easily forgotten. We lost track of the fresh coconut consumption and the bar staff didn’t disappoint in the cocktail department. Food is an important part of the Samoan culture and large meals are non-negotiable and definitely needed after our long days exploring. Needless to say, it was a sad day when our two weeks in paradise came to an end. A massive thank you to the amazing Samoa Airways for getting the team there safely and back. We will never forget our time on this friendly island and hope to return soon.
